Tips for a summer body


First day of summer is June 20.  Summer is such a fun season.  Vacations, swimming, water skiing, and barbecuing are just a few of the fun things to do in summer.   Summer is also a time when most people want to look good.  Usually people start wanting to lose weight after the first of the year in hope of being in shape by summer.   It is not too late to try to lose weight and to get in shape.
Tips for losing weight and having a toned body:
*drink at least 70 ounces of water a day
*cut out carbonated drinks and fruit juices
*eat breakfast
* eat meals with balance of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats to maintain a healthy body and to prevent your metabolism from slowing down.
 *eat at least 6 to 8 servings of fruits and vegetables daily
* eat lean meats
*limit sugar and sweet
*don’t skip meals – this will actually make you overeat
*exercise at least 30 minutes a day 3 to 5 times a week
*Sleep at least 7-8 hours a night
*take a good multivitamin daily
